I just recently bought a new bow(Q2) and was wondering if (and how) there's a way to mark my string? Someone at my bowshop recommended that I take the string off and measure the exact length before I shoot it, and after a couple hundred shots remeasure it. Is this good advice? There was some disagreement at my shop... Also, can someone recommend a quality bowstring? I would like to have a spare string already stretched in when I need a replacement or go on my next hunting trip. I could use some advice...
