I am sure its a great constructed bullet. One problme is its thick soft copper jacket. You couldn't load a 180gr scirroco to the same load as a matchking. They build pressure fast. When I tried, I used very slow powder in my 300RUM like H1000, and RL25. Factory also shot 3" groups worst case. But I believe the faster powder would help. I bet a man shooting 180gr with IMR4350 might have luck. I am starting to see success not only with Scirrocos and RUM, but solid shank bullets and win mags, and rem mags and 30-06's by using less of the slow buners.

You might lose some velocity, but with any of the magnums, you have velocity to spare.
