It does void your warranty if you alter the stop, but people are doing it..some folks are going to the hardware store and buying a hard plastic tube of slightly smaller diameter, or just using the screw wrapped with fleece/moleskin, or even taking an exacto knife and shaving a bit of the rubber off where it hits the supressor arm.

I wouldn't recommend it when used at the 80 percent setting as it will overrotate the cam, but in the 65% position I haven't seen any issues.
