RE: Rem Scirocco not grouping!?!?
I'm new to reloading rifle cartridges, but have asked many questions and the answers I've been told have been very helpful. But to answer your question I will give you an answer that has been given to me by many reloaders and bullet manufactures. To start factory ammunition is loaded to function in every type of firearm chambered for a specific caliber, So in otherwords different types of factory loadings work better or worse in different guns. So if you shoot factory ammo the smart thing to do is buy different brands and loadings and figure out which ammo works best for your gun. Asfar as reloaded ammunition the same rule aplies but you can adjust your loading to your rifle and make the ammunition work in your gun, for example you can adjust the powder charge and bullet seating depth untill you find whats called "the sweet spot" you will know when you hit it your ammuniton starts grouping very nicely, but it can take awhile and many loadings before you find it. So if your gun doesn't shoot factory loadings of the Rem Scirocco AKA swift Scirocco very well then the only alternative is get into reloading which creates the option of being able to adjust your cartridge to work best in your gun.
