Musket caps are much easier to handle when you have cold fingers, which is an advantage if you don't have a good capper. Also, some of them may be (probably are) hotter than standard #11 caps, but I haven't found them to be better than CCI #11 magnum caps, and they don't hold a candle to the #209 shotgun primers!!
