Before you buy please pick up a walnut stocked Encore not the synthetic version. It just locks in to my shoulder so sweetly and the synthetic feels totally different. The Omega feels like any other rifle so it should feel ok as any other type of rifle. But there's something definatly different to a wooden Encore that you just have to check for yourself. It just holds rock steady naturally. As a bonus, personally, wood always looks sharper to me than plastic.
