mlang------I do understand what your saying about being in the way when climbing.The easiest way for me to keep things as silent as possible is to turn the calipre up and tuck it into my jacket.It does get in the way at times but i like my release and just grin and bear it

Another trick is if the calipre isn't long enough you can put a heavy duty elastic around your wrist and hold the calipre up that way.Just hook it in the jaws and away you go
