You'll not go wrong with either one, both are very accurate and easy to clean. If you plan on using it for muzzleloading only, go with whichever one fits you the best. Its just my opinion, but I'd go with the Encore. Reason being, its versatility. Once you have the Encore frame, you have the choice of many different barrels to go with your Encore. Everything from a .223 to a .450 Marlin centerfires, blackpowder rifle/shotgun barrels, 3-inch shotgun turkey barrel, 12 and 20ga barrels for upland game and if you want, there are also pistol barrels in centerfire and a muzzleloading 50 cal barrel. But in the end, it'll be you spending the cash, so go with whatever meets your needs.
