RE: ???Best Mechanicals???
I'm a firm believer in Rocket, specifically the Wolverine 3P... which is as close to a Rocket Steelhead in shape / size. My Rockets have always hit point of aim with no tuning fuss. The blades are a bit lacking in sharpness, but I've not had any trouble pushing them through the chest of whitetails out to 35 yards. Clean pass throughs at only 62 pounds of draw weight... very nice. If you like, they can be sharpened quickly with any basic kitchen style knife sharpener. (Just hold the blade with pliers and pass it through.) I can't comment on Rockets that have a cutting diameter more than 1 1/8 inch, as there hasn't been a need to change sice using the little 75 grain 3P's. If I were to go back to fixed blades, I'd shoot Muzzy. I don't plan on switching from Rocket anytime soon.
