Thanks Doc. My lab is almost eight months and the basic obedience is great. She was doing fine retrieving, but just lately started dropping short. I'm probably over due to buy a good book. I remember you posting a link to Evan Grahams wed site, do you still have it.
At 8 months, and dropping short, means that she would really benefit from FF (Force Fetch). Evan has a fairly new book called "SmartFetch" -- it's the only book TOTALLY devoted to FF. Most good dog training books have a chapter on FF, but SmartFetch is the ultimate. Evan's website is
