you are a big boy so if a .270 bothers you my guess is you have never been taught how to mount and hold the rifle properly.
.243, 25-06 all great choices. Like Kona said 6.5 x 55 is great too. Thats what I shoot in a Ruger M77.
You're right about that one. I was never really taught anything, I just kinda figured it out on my own. Is there a certain way of doing it? Also I'm in Mississippi, if it helps to know where I'm located.
