After you shoot your feathers thru the biscuit enough you will notice the edges getting fuzzy. When you edges get really fuzzey they will make more noise as opposed to being not fuzzy. That's the biggest reason I got rid of my biscuit and went with a MZE drop away. Got tried of refletching because of biscuit wear.

If you let your wet feathers dry out they will recover and you can shoot them some more. I have some that were soaked in blood from past thru on animal. I Just left them sit for about a week and they recovered. Then I used it some more.
