I have an issue with a guy erecting a fence around deer that are public property, making them unavailable to the general public to hunt.
In parts of this country, Texas especially, those animals have spent there entire lives on private property. Which means the "general public" has never had the right to hunt them. On large peices of private property, the deer will spend there entire lives on the same land that is owned by the same person/family. So what difference does it make if that landowner desides to erect an 8 foot fence around his property? The public has never and will never be able to hunt those deer, weather they are behind an 8 foot fence or no fence at all.
