I also own 4 gorilla stands they work great for me. But I drill a hole on one end at the top and bolt a 5 foot chain. On other end I bolt a [S ]hook then put chain around tree and hook to S hook. This way I have 2 things holding me to tree the strap on the stand and the chain.
