An elk drop camp is a diffrent story. I can see where an outfitter with hourses have a place but just paying a guide to say go sit here or go sit in this stand isn't for me.

Getting into the back country with tons of gear is a chore and a horse is a great tool but from there on out I want to hunt the animal on me own. I just comes down to personal preference. I'm not offended by people hunting with guides. The need to make a living too.
