Should you not return it & exchange it for another model, that tough-acting bolt sounds like you will be the one disassembling/assembling it... not your wife...lol

Either direction you go or no direction -- I didn't mean to panic/alarm you. There are plenty of fine-functioning Lightning Bolts out there & hopefully you have one of them.
