I'm just the opposite as Jeff........I think ASAT is a little better in all situations, but that's just me. They're both OUTSTANDING patterns, and if there was no ASAT for me to wear then I would absolutely wear Predator. Probably Fall Brown.

I think anyone here would be hard pressed to tell the difference between Mossy Tree or Real Oak "any pattern" 18 feet up a tree at 20 yards.........they all look the same, dark and low contrast. Just what an animal sees unless you have similar back cover........a dark blob.

That Snake skin stuff? it looks sort of like camo at 2 feet, but that stuff is going to look like a sea foam green dress shirt at any distance. There's a reason why no animal bigger than a snake has evolved a plain green appearance, or a snake skin pattern for that matter.
