Non-bench rest/free-style shooting with your scope/powder/powder grain/bullet grain combination has to be an adventure every time you squeeze the trigger to avoid scope eye
I kept hearing people talk about the horrible recoil with anything over 100gr of powder and anything greater than 300gr bullet. So I get this knight elite, and carefully squeeze off some 150gr loads, with 300gr SST's as I never shot over 95gr for over a decade. In my opinion, my 300win mag, kicks alot harder. Maybe it cause I shoot 300RUM's and 375HH's all the time, but I don't think I would mention recoil as a problem on a muzzleloader. But then again, this elite has a top notch recoil pad.
