The 10/22 is one of the few guns you can buy for $100 and it end up being a bottomless pit for money. So many toys you can put on one it isn't even funny. I took one unfired, put on a heavy barrel, changed out the hammer and sear, and put on a laminate thumbhole stock. It is a tack driver but I could never get enough money from selling to cover the money and time I have in it. Sure is fun though.
