Just curious, why do you like predator better than ASAT. I'm in the market for new camo.
Hmm..good question. And I hope my ASAT loyal friends don't take any offense , but I think it's better in a couple ways.

1) Biggest reason. More disruption of the human outline. Predator uses a light background with big angular/jagged blocks of darker colors along with the black "limbs" that are just going nuts. It's an extremely confusing pattern, which is why it's so effective. ASAT's "squiggles" are "softer" and contrast less. Although ASAT and Predator both blend in and break-up the outline depending on conditions, I feel ASAT blends a bit better but breaks up less.

2) because of #1, 3-D suits are not needed IMO w/ Predator because the effect and depth is built in, so to speak, whereas ASAT doesn't provide as much concealment quality when used on a flat fabric as it does in a 3D suit.

From a value and availability standpoint, Predator is available in several different color schemes for those who feel the need to match environment as closely as possible, plus it's available in many more styles and types of clothing. I realize ASAT is just getting started up again, and needs some time to grow, but they have a very minimal product offering right now, and few options from other clothing manufacturers. Whereas Predator has a large product offering direct, as well as several other clothing companies (including Cabelas) sewing clothes in the pattern.

BTW...ASAT at one time in the early 1990s had a grey background color based version that I thought worked quite well and possibly better than the current version for treestand hunting..I'd like to see them bring that back. My old boss at the shop used to wear it all the time.
