I'm quite pleased to help you in the right direction. "Sportsman Against Hunger" is a wonderful program that really helps out some of the less fortunate folks here in our great state. I have participated in this program for many years and do our own personal version of it by giving meat to a few families whom I feel need it more than my own.

Go to the Illinois Department of Natural Resources website.

Click on "Get Involved" on the left side of screen.

Then click on "Sportsman Against Hunger" in the middle of the screen.

There you will find all the information you will need to share your bounty!

I first started helping this program out, not when I was being blessed with the opportunities of harvesting many animals, but in leaner times. I believe in Karma and I thought this would be a good deal. And it was.

Good luck and try to encourage others to join you in sharing their bounties.
