After the first one has been hung from the ground I hook the secureing strap of the remaining 3 ladders to my belt on either side and my back and hang one at a time as I climb. I use a climbing belt so the hang can be done with both hands. Can be a little noisy with them banging together as you climb but with practice and taking your time it can be held to a minimum.
