Blakelyboy,
I better not find out that you shot those poor defenseless gophers or were they wood chucks, in the shoulder and not the heart. Because if you did, I'm going to tell you, you were wrong to do it. You should not have taken the shot. Now, what heppened to the 20% you missed, were they "BAD" shots cause if they were, I don't know what I'll do....
Anyway, that sounds like some good shooting and fun too. I usually use my 22 on wood chucks but maybe next time I'll try the bow.

You'll get a kick out of this Tomster, these things i shoot are richardson ground squirrels and they are small, 10" long by maybe 2" diameter if seriously in need of a jenny craig diet

, prolly more like 1 1/2" diameter. There are millions around me, prairie rats really, we kill so many a year can't count. Mostly do it with the rimfire and if close to town i love the airgun and for good archery practice or just a change then the bow. Here's some pics that might livin things up a little

, but sometimes i don't even hit the heart/lungs, sometimes i hit them in the head...talk about an unethical shot. Kids, if your reading, i'm a POS(piece of shyt) and don't do what i do...ONLY AIM FOR THE LUNGS on ground squirrels!!!
