I did not take the shot, he did. I would not have aimed for the shoulder, he did, the deer died, end of story.
How many deer have you wounded while hunting? Did you ever make a bad shot? Are you human and make mistakes? Do you practice every chance you can to make the best shot possible?
You know the answers, hopefully he now does.
Your right he made the shot not you but you are the one that said "get over it" maining it's no big deal to possibly wound a deer and then later made the statement that you believe in killing as fast and ethically as possible. Second, I have never once wounded a deer while hunting or made a bad shot. I am not saying I am perfect by any means but I have just passed on alot of opportunities that I thought might result in an injured animal rather than doing it on purpose. And third, a mistake is when something happens that you didn't intend to happen. Therefor he would have to have been aiming for the vitals in the first place which was not the case. As far as having the post removed due to the pics I have to agree with you. This is a hunting site, if you can't deal with looking at pics like that then get over it. I just think the post was removed because of where it was leading and I can see this one heading there too.
