RE: Tree stand height & Summit Climbers
Thanks, for the info. I look forward to making my purchase next week. Whackabuck, if you work at Cabela's, is their a particular type of climber you recommend?
I am a little afraid pf heights myself. I can sit all day at any height, but when it comes to standing and making a shot that is when things get hairy. It's funny. I can stand all day on one spot in my driveway and not sway or move a muscle, but try to stand on a 2' x 2' platform 16 feet in the air - whoa! That proves it is all in my head.
Some of the biggest problems we run into here in Maine, is finding a tree with few enough limbs to get to 16 feet. Hence hang - on stands are real popular, but with the increase in theft, I paln to go with something I can bring home each night.
