If theres all these big bucks in Texas being shot then how come they aren't being entered in P&Y?? maybe because P&Y and B&C dont accept trophies shot behind fences
I've already explained why Texas dosent have alot of entries in the P&Y books. And very few ranches down here are high fenced. But even if a ranch is high fenced the deer taken can still make the books as long as the ranches perimeter fence is made up of 1,000+ feet of "low fence" (ex. standard barbwire). A ranch can have 50 miles of high fence, but as long as there is a 1,000+ feet of low fence, all the deer taken can still be entered in the books. So this allows alot of "high fence deer" into the record books.
