If you can get a Springfield for $379, I say go for it. I personnally bought a Cenury Arms 1911 (which was made in the Phillipines sadly enough) for $359 and not only have I had to replace a few parts already (I have only owned the gun for about 4 months), I am still having feeding problems with every style of ammo I use with it, even after upgrading clip manufacturers as well. Do yourself a HUGE favor and buy a better name brand and think of the money you won't have to spend on crap you shouldn't have to upgrade. That in itself will save you money in the long run!
