If theres all these big bucks in Texas being shot then how come they aren't being entered in P&Y?? maybe because P&Y and B&C dont accept trophies shot behind fences[:-]. I think you can't beat Wisconsin Iowa and Illinois. We here in Wis had the B&C record typical for 74 years! the james jordan buck. Iowa will probably produce the world record typica this year. Not from Dubuque county though. Allamakee or Clayton. We've got pictures of or have seen 3 bucks that will be world record calss this fall for sure. Iowa restricts the number of non residents and its shotgun only so the bucks get older and reach maturity. i dont doubt alot of big bucks come from south texas..but more are coming from the upper midwest!
