You're killin' me here. Rabbit's been losed for over a month. Never hunter them with a bassett before, but I hear that since they move slower it makes for a more laid-back hunt.

Personally, I won't shoot small game with blunts anymore. I'm making my own small game heads again with .38 or .357 cases, weighed up with lead, and a 7/8" steel blade sid into the front. Kind of a "poor man's" Magnus blunt. But hey, they only cost me about 20 cents each to make.
