Default RE: Nebraska farmers

"Have had and heard of lots of deer stands and other items being stolen while at these places"

Then quit leaving your junk on public land! It won't get stolen!

I say Buy the land and then rent it back to the farmers. Then get pissed off when the put a few ruts in the road. Raise the rent and now to really upset them put even worse ruts in the road yourself. When they complain say they are only leasing it....

Sorry just a little frustrated. Had one guy tell me I could drive down the field lane. I left some tracks (nothing extreme) in it when it rained one day. He got all bent out of shape and then a month later HE put some really DEEP ruts in almost all of his field lanes.

I also work with a farmer who won't let anyone else hunt on his land. It was sure fun when he started complaining that there are too many deer and the DNR should increase the number of permits they give out.... I shut him up a little when I reminded him that several of us offered to hunt on his land last fall. At that point I decided that if the state ever gives out crop damage permits and such it should only be to farmers that allow others to hunt on their land first.

That is probably enough of my complaining about double standards for today.
