Is that 209 with or without deductions?? That can make a huge difference, and I'm not even close to being an expert in this area. I'll never say that there aren't big bucks in texas, never did.
Looking at the data that I did, your 209 (after deductions) would be #2 in texas (if it was P&Y) and #4 in Wi. Granted that is dated info, but it shows that Texas is still slightly behind the midwest.
I'm guessing that this year or next Wi will produce a good crop of 180 and up bucks based on Earn A Buck causing a reduction in the # of small bucks, and bucks in general. Therefore they each get an extra year to grow.
I also feel that Pennsylvania will get into the swing of things in a couple of years now that they have antler restrictions.
