I am new to bowhunting this year. I have had my bow for several years, but never hunted with it. I have been target practicing with Easton xx75 2219 since I bought it. I will hunt with them too. My brother in law says carbon is the only way to go, I disagree.

I got a new sight last weekend and was sighting it in. Missed the targer on the first arrow. Hit my backstop, 3/4" ply wood. Sunk that arrow 5 inches through the other side. This was at 20 yards.
