Wow lots to comment on this one.
You don't want a small light bullet fragmenting upon impact when shooting at deer sized game.
You have to be the 1st person I've ever heard that didn't want to shoot a deer in the lungs for fear it may run too far.

Why does the size of the rack determine the level of shot selection?
If you want to go around popping deer in the HQ's, fine, but don't braodcast it over the internet and make yourself and other hunters look really bad.
