His AL48 has trouble cycling. He has had it to three seperate gunsmiths and none can locate the problem. I read in a Brownells gunsmithing kinks book that sometimes gas port will erode and cause malfunctions but I was'nt sure if that would be a problem for a bird hunter shooting a case of shells a year or if one would have to shoot multiples of that to see the erosion.
