For that cheap, either find a slightly used rem or win. or ruger. Or, you can get a new ruger m77 mark II for that cheap, but if you want the best deal for that kind of money, I'd go with a savage 110 or 111 in whichever caliber you like. You can probably find one at wally world for that little that already has a 4x glass on it, it won't be a great scope, but it's enough to get started on a budget. Try looking around with other local hunters first though, they might know of someone who treated their rifle like a child and is willing to part with one of them, it happens, I got a 1894 Spanish mauser that looked like it was only a year old like that, too bad my girlfriend claimed it right after I got it though.
