BT is almost the ideal and perfect bullet for Deer for anything under 3000fps MV. You should be careful on a few shots. The front brisket/shoulder shot at long range might be a tad risky. But a boiler room shot is a sure thing. The Sierra 165gr gameking is the second most perfect bullet for deer.
