All I have to say is I've been hunting with a bow for a long time. and I have been blessed by only loosing two deer. I love the way mechanicals fly but both times where I lost deer I was using mechanicals (two different types). With square hits I had pass through problems both times . My KE was higher then the recommended KE in both cases and I never had that problem before. I personnally went back to a fixed blades.
