I would also suggest that you take a copy of your plans to a Notary of Public and have him/her put thier stamp on it. This way you have someone with legal standing to back up your claim that you did in fact come up with this idea when you said you did, should you ever have to protect your idea from someone else.
If you are worry about this all you have to do is mail a copy to yourself and NOT OPEN IT! The post mark is a federal stamp and is what won the case for who really came up with the movie Coming To America. BTW he got nothing because Eddie Murphy cost too much.
