Well, I doubt Cobray qualifies as even an afterthought in 'gun names', but an M11/9 pistol I bought back in 1986 broke it's internal hammer within the first 100-150 rounds fired. Upon it's disassembly, the piece fell out on the floor, having snapped the hammer in half, right in the middle.
Was repaired under warranty, but still, the internal parts were of simple non-hardened castings/pot metal assortments. Not a gun I'd want to depend on, despite it's 36 round capacity. A fun plinker though!
