Between my father and i, we have shot 12 to 15 white tails with a 30-06 useing 150 and 165 N. BT's. I like the 165's better as they do penetrate a bit better. The bullet does break up more than i'd like, but for a non premium bullet, it works very good.

I also shot several caribou with a 30-06 useing 165's, (includeing the one in the picture) and in my opinion they are on the light side for anything but rib shots on animials of this size.

Over all, they are a pretty good "non premium" bullet.
