I personally haven't used them on deer, but I load them for my neighbor and he uses them. Shoots a Savage 99. He swears by them and they kill deer in a hurry. I use a 130 BT in my 270 Win and wouldn't use anything else, and I picked up a 99e myself in 308 Win and will be using 150 grain BTs in it.
