I would like to here firsthand from guys who have used a Nosler Ballistic tip from a .308 in 150 grain on deer and similar sized game. I have decided on using these bullets out of my 99, using Noslers data for Varget powder. According to their manual, it should do around 3000 FPS. Good enough for me. I'll simply buy a box of factory Federal Premium Partions in 180 grains for elk and moose, but load the BT's for everything else.
