I don't kill people's pets as you would see if you had read my post rather than just skimming it. If the animal has a collor or tags (which is required by law here) I do not kill it. I would assume that if it has collars or tags it is someone's pet and it has a home, I would not want to kill it. Now if I saw it kill a quail or a songbird, I might shoot it but otherwise no.

Look, I'm a trained wildlife biologist, I'm don't do what I do because I like it. But there are some serious issues here and if people kept better control of their animals there would not be such a huge problem with semi-wild cats and dogs. But since society has yet to find a cure for this particular problem, all I can do is treat the symptom, which is stopping stray cats from killing wildlife.
