Default RE: What types of animals have you hunted?

I shoot stray animals that come onto my property. I'm sick and tired of having stray cats living in my outbuildings (and pissing on everything) and stray dogs fighting with my dogs giving me large vet bills. If it doesn't have a collar and/or tags on it...it dies. May seem harsh but I've learned my lesson early in life.

Another reason to kill domestic cats: If you knew how many songbirds, small mammals etc that have gone extinct since cats became the favored pet you would be sick. Do some research you will be shocked. Domestic cats (stray or not) have a huge impact on wildilfe populations especially in rural areas. For one thing, they stalk and kill prey even when they are being fed regularly.

I never really thought about things like that until I became a biologist. After researching more I've come to firmly believe that if you love wildlife you'll do your best to get rid of stray cats and make sure cat owners keep control of thiers.
