I use a sony p32 camera, a brain for the control board, and either an otter 3000 or pelican 1040 camo dipped box. total cost for the do it yourselfer is around 250.00 depending on the price of your camera. I am a member of both jesse's which mdbohuntr gave you the link for and hagshouse.com which is the site I use most often. the guys on hags house are great help. you can see many picts of the units you want to build and get all your questions answered. I would suggest you decide what kinda camera you want to build first. I like the sony's as they take great day and night pictures, however, the minolta x20 is a great camera that can be mounted in a case that is small enough to fit in your shirt pocket. my units run around 4 inches wide x 6 inches long approximately. hope this helps.
