You should have a look at the Lieca range finder,forget the scout by bushnell,it's when you see deer that counts,thats usally at dusk and the scout has terrible clearness to pick up the animal,where as the lieca is almost as good as any binocular you can find. I actually use mine more now as a binocular and leave the binocs at home, Nikon is a better buy than the Scout too. But then it is almost as bad as the scout when it comes down to the crunch,the majic time. When their needed most ,dusk and dawn,thats when the Lieca win's by a ton,clearness is what your after .
