The lower end Bushnells (Trophy & Sport) use 9V batteries.
Others use a lithium battery.

The 440 doesn't have enough eye relief for me and won't
be as bright as the 6X Bushnell.

I bought a Nikon Monarch, enough eye relief (with eyecup
removed), fog & waterproof. 1/2 yard accuracy & readings.
$330 retail

Better optics than Bushnell. The bottom is flat, top curved,
so you can pull it out by feel. Also has a backlight to illuminate
LCD display. Wonder if Bushnell has patent on using the finger
grooves?
