I did a bad, bad thing. I traded my beloved 30-30

in on a clean little Savage 99C (detachable box model) in .308 Winchester.

It's in really nice shape, and I'm looking foward to trying it out. The last .308 I owned was a 81 BLR, but it never quite fed right. This one, has a nice oiled stock, weighs in at about 8 1/2 pounds with a full clip, my Weaver K-3 scope, and leather sling. The trigger breaks at a crisp 3 1/2 pounds, and it comes right up to my shoulder. I think me and this rifle are going to have many adventures together.
