I've looked at the B&C reticle and it just doesn't seem to be what I like. I have gotten used to my old Leupold (very old) with a tapered post and thin crosshair. The post extends just a bit above the crosshair and I have my point of impact at 100 yards to be the tip of the post, which extends just a bit above the crosshair...just a little bit. In this way I can use the actual intersection of the post and crosshair as a different aim point depending on distance. It is a reticle that can't be had anymore....that I've been able to find anyway. I've heard of a company that will do after market reticle conversions........

They do after market custom reticles and power boosts on Leupold scopes. Their No. 2 post and crosshair reticle comes pretty close to my set-up, although my post is thinner at the top with a more gentle taper and the post extends just a tiny bit higher than theirs. I love that set-up but appear to be nearly alone in my preference.
