Shooting clay pigeons is a great way to get familiar with your gun. Shooting with a friend helps point out flaws in your shooting also. The number one no-no that I see, is to look up to see if you hit the pigeon. It may not even seem like you are doing it. But you will shoot over the pigeon just about everytime.
